Meet Mrs. Kercher:

I have been teaching at BHMS since 2001. My professional experience includes having degrees in Education specializing in: Special Education, Second Language Education, and Educational Leadership. I have attended Kutztown University for my undergraduate work and Turabo and Lehigh Universities for my graduate work. I do believe in being a life long learner, therefore, I am always involved in taking classes to update my skills and teaching practices.  In addition to teaching middle school students, I have also taught graduate students at Penn State University as an adjunct faculty member. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have a daughter named Alexis who loves playing soccer.  I also have a dog named Bailey who keeps me busy playing ball. My husband and I enjoy spending time in the outdoors hiking, riding four-wheeler, swimming, gardening, and biking. When it is too cold to be outside, I enjoy scrap booking, collecting baskets, and reading. If you have any questions or concerns throughout the school year, please contact me. I can be contacted via e-mail at manker@bhasd.org . I do check my e-mail periodically throughout the day and voice mail first thing in the morning.
